Looking to reinforce creating elements, designing pathways, and setting up dashboards on a larger screen (at home or in the office) and then accessing the dashboards and managing the elements ‘on the go’ from smaller screen (mobile devices or smartphones). The four elements are: jobs, syllabi, projects / lesson plans, and tasks / experiences. My team got to designing and building the prototype mobile application, which is a step forward from the previous responsive version.
Generally, the navigation is straightforward:
- Move through the sections by swiping left and right.
- Move through the elements by scrolling up and down.
- Click and hold on an element to see all the assignment to the pathway.
- There are two buttons on the top menu: one to access previously created dashboards; and one to choose what sections appear in the mobile application.
(As said earlier, the mobile application accesses elements that were already created.) Here is a link to a mobile application with sample elements: http://www.skillslabel.com/Dashboard/MyDashboardMobileOptimized .
Give this a try and give my team your feedback: breaks / errors, suggested features and functionality, and general thoughts firstname.lastname@example.org
